SEPT 2018: New Moon Workshop at GRDN

Posted on

I’m no master of ceremonies, but Susanne, owner of GRDN & Emilie (Sense of Wonder Lab) have asked me to participate in their new moon breakfast workshop to be held at GRDN this Sunday from 9am-11am.

This comes at a good time, as the new moon is a defining phase of the lunar cycle signifying new beginnings and rebirth, and for me September always feels like a time to ‘re-boot’ (and this fall I seem to have some big shifts I want start in motion). This August while at home in Vancouver I was thinking about these changes & paused to consider where all the energy gets drawn from to make these shifts in directions and attitudes.

Change can feel uncomfortable and scary, so sometimes it’s easiest to let negative attitudes- my frustration, anger etc. be the harbinger of change. For the rest of 2018, I’m wondering how I can dig a little deeper and create the energy, focus & conviction out of alternate energies- simple awareness, self-knowledge, and compassion for myself and for others.

So, please join me at with Susanne & Emilie at GRDN to create a new moon bouquet and a small offering bowl to hold new intentions. Write down your new moon intentions and let me burn it in the kiln with your kiln as an offering.

You'll also get to savor Mamie Brougitte breakfast cake (who designed the recipe and flavor of her cake based on my work), Rishi Tea and botanicals, and Furnace Creek Farm's uplifting elixirs.

Cost of the workshop (bouquet with unlimited flowers, tea, cake, botanicals & elixirs, stoneware pinch bowl) is $85. Space is limited...RSVP to info@grdnbklyn.com

Hope to see you there!
